In Google's new challenge towards becoming a worldwide media center, I have come to realize that the results sent from Google News appears like nothing more than the articles we publish everyday. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles articles listing of some forms?

I only mention this because when publishing my online marketing posts, I often wonder if they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they do! The truth is, they generally arrive within 48 hours to be listed from other top related web sites.

How does Google News select it's content?

Right now, it seems that 'news centers' & 'press release organizations' associated with your field online are profiting from these search results. If you consider it, wouldn't a press release be considered a form of media anyways? Possibly...
